Look at those peepers...

I certainly couldn't tear my eyes away.

This is Rohan.  The very engaging young man who was our guide at Verdmont,  a Bermuda National Trust house that was built around 1710.      A very special house.  We both found it extremely interesting.

....eventually Pete managed to drag me away and we trekked  our way round the very beautiful Spittal Pond Nature Reserve. From there we walked along South Shore to John Smith's Bay.  This is the bay that is only a 15 minute walk from where we are staying.
