Hailstorm

Just after my husband had set off to take some rubbish to the tip, the heavens opened! It is heavy showers today, so I hope it stopped in time for him to get the rubbish out of the car.

Son's birthday today. He has a heavy cold, but feels better than he did yesterday and is trying out some charcoal pencils and sticks that we bought him as a present. Very messy to use of course! This afternoon we are planning to watch the "Passengers" film via iTunes. We have some special cup cakes for later (he wanted these rather than a large cake).
