Special day

in NYC, with flags at half mast and firemen in smart uniforms. A lovely fresh day which started with a forty five minute spinning session trying to keep up with my daughter in law and a roomful of other young people.

Strolls in Central Park and an afternoon being blown away by the range of treasures in the Met, from Isfahan carpets to favourites by Cezanne and Picasso. And celebrations of job offers in the family.

What a happy day for us.
