Can't Rush This

This is a piece of black walnut -- one of several prizes I won in the woodworkers' club Christmas fundraising raffle. I started the somewhat daunting task of removing the bark this morning. Patience is required, and frequent breaks. I also find it helps to listen to Delta blues on Pandora, streamed to my Bose Soundlink speaker via my iPhone.
