(minus oldest daughter). We went to see Mme Butterfly at the Kennedy Center. What an amazing production: the music and the voices were entrancing and the sets (a minimalist and thoroughly modern interpretation) were a delight to the eye. Great evening!

And, during intermission, Mother Nature provided her own show to entertain us from the KC's terrace!
