Nasty!

Ollie is treated regularly with a flea and tick preventative, but occasionally I do find a tick on him.  I was assiduous in searching his coat for them while we were away in Skye and the Highlands, and not so much now we are home.  They aren't a big problem here, but he found this one somewhere!  

I spoke to the vet about it and she has recommended a tablet, rather than a liquid applied to his skin, so we will give them a go.  Because of the length and thickness of Ollie's coat, I am quite particular about keeping it pest free. Usually all I find in it are seeds, bits of moss, dried seaweed and bits of twig!  

At least this one doesn't look as if it has had a feed!  Hope you weren't eating while you were reading this . . . !
