En route..

..G went off to her Pilates class this morning, and I went down the croft. Hoed up some rows of salads that weren't doing too well, and raked over some patches.

Sowed a couple of rows of Mibuna, and Mizuna. A row each of three different turnips, and a row of Swede, and four rows each of coriander and spinach.

Then pushed the wheeled hoe through half the veg rows. Need to do the rest, and pull up the old brassicas pretty soon too. And pick up stones.

Then a harvest for the hotel, and the accompanying pint! Saw these deer having a paddle in the sea at Kylestrome.

Good news about the croft, I've got the apportionment for the ground behind our house. This means I have an extra 0.385 ha, part of which could grow veges.. just have to fence it now..

EDIT: Picture changed to this "triple" rainbow! We've all seen double ones, this triple - a bow from the bottom of the inner to the top of the outer - is caused by sunlight being reflected off the still sea water in the bay. It's only the second time I've seen this..
