A Fine Day Out

A friend took me for a day out in North Notts today. She is a real expert on fungi, and we went to look at a site she monitors there. We found a few fungi, but nothing remarkable. I've put one type in extras  - just don't ask me what it is. It looks a bit like an oysterling. The main image was taken at a nearby small country park - my first damselfly of the year. After that we went to Idle Valley Nature Reserve and had coffee and cake, and watched the activity on the lake before heading home.
