Surprise growth

After the overnight rain this little mushroom had appeared this morning sprouting from a straw bale placed to stop vehicles driving into the farmers field.  It was hard to choose the blip between this or it's alien like looking friends (extra).  

They was no sign of them this afternoon when we returned.

Off in a minute to a social evening sorting music out for Linton Jazz, and to hand over a cheque for band shirts given to us by the Parish Council on Monday.  We'll soon be looking smarter!
