View from Barrow

C (Nikonabike) and I, plus Hector and Ziggy, walked up to Barrow today, and ate our lunch on the top (height 455 metres - this was the view). The weather today was fantastic - couldn't have been better, so the 360 degree panorama was magnificent as we could see for miles.
I must say that for my little legs it was quite hard-going on the way up, so I was dreading the descent. However, on the return it was a very gentle slope all the way, and so I was fine.
Another couple from our village have arrived here today, and together with LooseCanon and Technophobe we shall all be meeting for a meal later on in Keswick. By tomorrow evening there should be 8 of us from the village!
