Nature Art

I have had such a good day at work! We took part in Outdoor Classroom Day and did all our lessons outdoors.
This afternoon we did some art. We have been looking at still life, abstract art and painting over the last couple of terms so today the children were allowed to be as creative as they liked. They chose the size of their paper, I provided the paint and then they just had to get on. Some of them used sticks to make detailed representations of the Ding Dong Tree in our playground while others were far more abstract in their approach. This child is a total perfectionist and hardly ever puts himself 'out there'. Today however he set himself up with paint and a branch and made this fabby piece without a single complaint. Another proud teacher day!
