Unsung Hero Gary

Gary is one of the central Bristol street cleaners.  He told me he had only picked up 9 needles today (one attached to a full syringe) but his  record is 21 in one day.  He has a special 'sin' bin  to put them.  I asked what treasures he has found and he listed quite a good amount of money and  jewellery, but his prize find was a brand new double tent which is now in his garden and used by his 7 year old son - that gave him the most pleasure.  Anything he finds has to be kept for 7 days to allow for the owners to call and make a claim.  If they don't he can keep it.
