Went out for a stroll - in sunshine - this morning having hung the washing out! Yeah...
After yesterday's rain it was a delight to be able to enjoy the glorious weather. 
I wandered through a local field that has sadly been given planning for horrible houses.....It is covered in wonderful wild flowers that will soon be concreted over. Our area is being totally spoilt with horrible houses....with no extra schools, no extra GP surgeries, dentists etc etc.  and where all the new folk are going to work is a mystery.  Our local hospital is at breaking point and there are even plans to close some areas; with Exeter being the next nearest Hospital this means approx 120 mile round trip for some consultations!
This field has been enjoyed by generations of locals as a 'play' area I hear;  there is a lovely river with a safe 'swimming pool' and large picnicking areas too.  So sad this 'progress'.
