Light refraction..

...more fun with ordinary things today!

Experiment:
- Fold a sheet of paper into half inch zig-zag steps, prop it up on a sheet of white paper, fill a clear glass bottle with water, place it in front of the folded paper and shine a very bright halogen shop light through the bottle.

Processing:
- Blk/wht adjusment layer, sliders dragged to burn out the whites and turn the greys soft, chalky and grainy
