Serpents and Ophicleides

Early start and work in town. Decided to wander along the Cowgate and wondered if the St Cecilia's Hall was open. I was lucky and I believe it just opened today. St Cecilia's Hall houses the University's collection of musical in and is absolutely wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the gallery where the instruments are sorted by type and age. Plenty to read and find out. It also comes with a small concert hall which I'd really fancy to visit. A fabulous place, highly recommended to visit.
