Little wild rose

To the allotment and did the usual tasks. Delighted to see the Langport Wren in full flower (even more delighted to be reminded of its oh-so-delicate scent) and the first ornamental poppy had opened. The wild rose is trying to overwhelm the forsythia bush. Even the self-seeded salsify was looking good. Nothing much to eat at the moment, but it looks promising. Arriving back at the Shore I saw before even getting off the bus that the Bernard St Bridge cygnets had hatched and launched - five cute fluffballs, with two very attentive and watchful parents. See extra.
