Under the weather

The weather in Cornwall is improving. Our weather app no longer shows rain for the rest of our lives. Yay!

Unfortunately I've been feeling a bit 'under the weather' all day. Actually I don't understand what feeling 'under the weather' means?! How can I be 'under the weather'? It's been raining the last couple of days and I definitely haven't been 'under the weather'. I've been right in the middle of the rainy weather on all of my walks?!

Anyway, this morning I went on my morning walk around town. Ann got very a little bit angry with me because I was going slower than a snail. I'm finding the steep St Ives hills really hard going first thing in the morning. Ann always thought that she would slow down before me but what she doesn't seem to realise is............................. in human years I'm more than 30 years older than her.

This morning Ann spent ages sorting out stuff that has been hanging around in our loft for the last 15 years so I just lay on the landing and watched her. She's been really ruthless and has thrown out loads of sentimental stuff. Stuff like three massive big bags containing pictures of the 'New Seekers' from the early 1970s. Surprisingly enough she never did get to marry Marty Kristian which was her main aim in life when she was 13. Sad to see them go, but if we're to continue living our lives in opposite ends of the country we need to de-clutter. A lot of my toys have also gone to the dog rescue centre for little doggies who aren't as lucky as I am.

This afternoon Ann said, 'Molly, I have to go to B&Q and Tesco. You can come with me and then I'll take you for your walk in Tehidy Woods.' Obviously I like to go wherever Ann is going, but I didn't really feel like my normal bouncy self today. I walked ever so slowly to the car and then I refused to jump in so Ann had to lift me in.

I have a duvet in the car and when we got to Tehidy Woods and Ann opened the boot, I was all snuggled up on it in sleepy mode. Ann said, 'Come on Molly, you need a walk. We'll not go very far.' I like Tehidy Woods because there's lots of nice smells and places to explore. However, today I didn't do any running. I just ambled along, miles behind Ann. Very annoying when I have a poo and Ann has to walk all the way back to pick it up. Lol. We only walked for about 40 mins and when we got back into the car I didn't have the energy to jump in so Ann had to lift me in.

…...........And now we're home and my dinner has been out for me since 5pm. I'm not hungry. I'm lying on the sofa having a little snooze. I don't have a problem jumping onto the sofa!

So what do you think Blippers? Do you think I'm just feeling a bit 'under the weather' today?
