Lit from Within

Before I went to bed last night I noticed my scented candle, and how pretty it looked. I liked how the melted wax had turned transparent, making the wicks visible. 

I don't have the technical nous to get the flames really sharp, but I decided to photograph it anyway! It was gone midnight, so it is technically taken today!

It's a Partylite one, which I bought from Jeri - she was selling them to raise funds for the charity she is supporting with her running. It smells lovely - vanilla coconut - reminds me of the beach I wish I was on!

it's rained steadily all day today. Hopefully they've had it in Metheringham too, so my Dad can stop fretting about the garden needing more rain!
