Collateral Damage

The pink cherry blossom has long gone but there was some white blossom still clinging to trees as we walked to Bruntsfield and Morningside this morning. This cluster of flowers though, had not been so lucky and lay forlornly on the path, victim of yesterday's wind.

One has to love firms delivering goods who tell you to the hour when they will arrive. I have been informed by text that my purchases of yesterday will come this afternoon between 15:01 and 16:01. I do like the accuracy of the minute although I don't quite understand it's significance. Rest assured I will be ready and waiting behind my door
