Zombie Dawn
It was a bit like a scene from some Zombie movie this morning at work, as the diehard Andy Murray fans dragged their sorry but happy carcasses off in search of caffeine. I made it to just after 1am but must've dozed off somewhere during the third set and woke up at the back of five with an iPad on my chest and headphones still in my lugholes. It was nice to be wakened a couple of hours later to the news that the monkey was off the Murray back and he had his first Grand Slam in the bag.
Was really hoping that was going to inspire our national football team to good things and put in a better show against the Mighty Macedonia. So far, so bad. It's looking like we might as well rename Hampden Muzza Stadium and paint a dozen tennis courts in there instead.
Thought those clouds above Stirling Castle looked a bit ominous earlier.
