Still Studying Minimalist

I keep reading and studying about minimalists photography.  Based on those readings and looking as samples, I believe the photo above and the extra qualify for the genre.  I find it challenging to be creative and produce a result that seems to represent simplicity.  In some minimalists photos, boldness is also an attribute.  I like it that minimalist works give the viewer options about interpretation.  Anyway, I appreciate your thoughts and comments.  Both these shots appear to fit the criteria better when in large.
