Breakfast time...

My neighbour G has gone to the Grand Canyon for a three week holiday so I've been left in charge of her tortoise Suzie. She's more than 70 years old and quite a looker, as you can see. Each morning I make sure she has plenty of lettuce (she likes 'Little Gem') and cucumber (freshly peeled, of course). But first I have to find her. She's an early riser and on these bright early summer mornings she's up with the lark and wandering around G's garden. Each evening, I check that she's returned to her hutch and settled in for the night. Quite a responsibility... but it's a pleasure.
