The swan family.

We went up to Stirling to try and photograph the scattering of poppy petals from the Wallace Monument to mark the centenary of the battle of Arras. Unfortunately the weather was not good. Dull, windy and as the poppies were about to cascade the rain came on! Extra photo which is very disappointing.

Walked up Carron Glen this afternoon and got wet again!

Tonight we ventured up to Stirling Uni campus to see if the swan was still sitting on her nest. What a surprise to see the cygnets had arrived. Second extra photo.

Then as we were about to come home this wee family crossed the road in front of us. A family of ten. That Mum has her work cut out!
