Canis Lupus Lupus

A wolf at the Highland Wildlife Park. We had been watching them for a while and saying how beautiful, dog-like and miss-judged they are but when one of them spotted us and looked us in the eye we both felt a strange shiver. Neither of us have ever felt anything like this before with a captive animal and it wasn't really fear either, just an in-built reaction to being fixed by one of our ancestors main predators perhaps.
