The Fairfax Track

It was such a glorious day today and we both felt it would be just wonderful to take time out from our busy retirement routine and go for a walk on the Fairfax Track.  We just love this walk.  It's an easy access walk so that even people in wheel chairs can traverse along it.  It also meanders through some very interesting bushland as it heads towards Govetts Leap Lookout. We noticed this track leading off to the left.  It's always been there but we could see they had layed long branches along the sides of the path.  We both commented that this could be a good strategy for our walk out to Wombat Rock.  We are determined to make it user friendly so that it's possible to walk it without having to have a wombat as a guide!!  

Hopefully on Friday we will have a fellow with a little bob cat appear at the property and he will be able to run his machine along the track to clear a lot of the debris that has collected over the past few years.
