CAMELLIA :

This is a Sasanqua, & the charming thing about them is they flower so much earlier than other varieties. Good heavens, it's autumn ! It has a slight fragrance & what I love is its pristine whiteness. With me, the white ones that flower in the spring, always have the tell-tale markings of frost damage - which is a bit off putting. It is growing on the railing on the south side.
