Just Another Manic Monday

We were at a new venue today in Bury and I wasn't sure where it was so Sue picked me up on the way so we could get lost together. We went round in circles and ended up on the wrong road three times before we found it, but we were laughing. 

There was no supervisor today and so when the manager arrived she turned to me....."Oh I wasn't good enough for you when I went for the job," I said, but of course I did it. It was a good team out and everything went well. I quite enjoyed it. 

We are all getting quite excited about the Dragon Boat Race on Sunday....it has come round so quickly. Amanda keeps googling paddling techniques and posting them on Facebook, I hope everyone has read them as I have told them I am very competitive and we are out to win it!
I have the T-shirts all beautifully printed. I have face paints ready so we can look like warriors and I think we should do a hakka...ha ha ha. We are raising money for The Christie Hospital which specialises in treating cancer....also it recently had a fire. As for this photo....well I arrived home at about 10pm all worn out from supervising  and had nothing to upload, so it was the first thing I could think of. I quite like the effect :))
