Me and my mum

A very wet morning but by the afternoon things had improved a bit. After a quick trip to the supermarket I went up to the loch hoping to see some cygnets. No joy .... the swan is still sitting on her nest.

The goslings were beginning to emerge from the warmth and dry conditions under mum's wings. This little one seems happy to stay put .... foraging on the grass can wait.
