Day off! I needed to do some shopping - I don't normally like going into the city on my days off because it feels like I'm going to work, but trying to shop in my lunch break/after work is too stressful.

I managed to find some new work clothes (even if it was a tiny proportion of what I tried on) and some birthday presents for Annabel. Met G at lunch time and we picnicked in the sun by the river.

In the evening we went to the cinema to see Their Finest with Tom. Except we didn't, because I'd got the time wrong. Instead we saw Miss Sloane, which was excellent, and happened to be the single screening of it that had bogof tickets! My mistake worked out quite well.
