Alan Turing

We watched the film 'The Imitation Game' a short while ago. An excellent true story of determination and tenacity of one man against adversity who with his team altered the course of the war. After the war he was unjustly persecuted and punished for being gay. 


Turing must have been an inspiration to those with an interest in IT, who knows, maybe they can resolve the ransomware issue hitting XP computers!

In other news: I had a bad night, coughing and sore throat, today it's settled in as full blown Man Flu.  It was so bad I forwent breakfast, though I did manage to get out for a little walk this afternoon.   The extra is a slug I came across,  I didn't used to like them but close up they are quite interesting.
