Peace Descending

Typically I came within a few hundred yards of the Olympic parade, but I was rushing to catch a tube.

The predecessor of this statue of Peace Descending on the Wellington Arch, was a giant equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington. The arch is open to visitors but I've never thought about going inside despite walking past it most weeks. I'll add it to my to do list.
