Old and New

Things move on and repairs get done. Walking round Well Cathedral I spotted these 2 doors side by side one, the old one led out to a rose garden and was an original medieval oak door the other was brand new also made of oak.

I love the way the same materials are still in use for the same purpose and looking just as good.
