An Avid Lensman

Nobody Likes a Pebble Beach!

Especially not in Wales.

Apart from six fishermen, some of their rods you can see on the right, and one other sunbather, there was no one else.

Far to the right was the bay itself where three or four people were out walking, but you could barely see them, let alone for them disturbing you!

Oh, and one gull, of course.

I reckon that my "local" Bournemouth would have had many many more - nowhere as many as at the height of the season, but despite these being pebbles, they were big and stable and I was able to get quite a comfortable lying position for a spot of sunbathing (this faces south west) with just my fleece laid out. The cool breeze was coming in from the north east but this just whistled overhead over the quite steep bank behind.

It did cloud over and the weather got a bit iffy and stormy but this was forecasted and so, no problem.

Seems that the nice elderly gentleman I sat next to on that bus whilst being 'ram-raided' (well, almost!) by the police in Poole, last week, who did warn me that he was recovering from a cold, did actually pass it onto me. I could have asked him to not to speak, take a breath or gag himself but 40 minutes on that bus did obviously promote good conversation. I could feel this slowly coming on over the weekend and now back home, I full in the thick of it and feel, well, ghastly, so doubt if I Blip today.
