Cottontail
Beside our driveway this morning. Almost certainly an Eastern Cottontail. He is often around; we suspect that he is the creature that has bitten off the blossoms of several of Laura's bulbs--annoying and very frustrating. Yesterday's rain ended, and we took our first drive up Mount Holyoke (the road has been closed until this weekend). It was still dreary and we saw very little. No sign (visually or audibly) of the Cerulean warblers that always nest near the summit (here is one of several blips of their unusually visible nest last June).
