Pretty flowers

Great start to the morning. Awoke to hear Andy M had won his first grand slam, then Ellie walked out of the door to school without her crutches(!), then they both went into school without crying. Fabulous.

Unfortunately it went a bit wrong later when I had a tyre blow out on the way home from work. It was the back tyre fairly close to home so it could have been a lot worse. Hubby came to my rescue thankfully. He was helped by a lovely Omani man, some of the locals here think nothing of helping out and doing good turns even for us ex-pats. I also got a friend along to lend a hand. Changing a tyre in 40% humidity is no fun (I imagine).
