Jackville Renovations

A warm day, not quite t-shirt weather, but sleeves rolled up kind of day.  A sunny, yet breezy morning and then it rained in the afternoon, leaving it dull and misty.  It has cleared and a fine sunny evening.

I woke with the sun coming through the curtains, and got out straight after breakfast.  We went for a run on the boat, and plenty of summer birds like tirricks splashing about.  With the afternoon turning, we headed back in.  Picked up friend Julie in the afternoon, and we headed down to Cunningsburgh hall for a car boot sale and Sunday teas.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, but mostly been lazy on the sofa.

We ended up at Jackville with the boat, tied up and headed for a walk about.   The house has fairly come on since I was last here, but feels like the progress is slow, probably due to no roads here and access is by sea.  The house is looking like it's former glory again, great to see it being loved.  A couple more windows needed upstairs, and I noticed the painters have been at work inside.  Taken at Jackville, Binnaness.
