Ashness Bridge

After climbing up Cat Gill we headed for Ashness Bridge and were just sitting enjoying the views when these guys pulled up, got out, climbed under the bridge and started singing Amazing Grace .... they said they were just up on a day trip to the Lakes ...they then got back in their car and headed off ....one of those curiously random lovely interludes!

What a spectacular day ... heard the cuckoo again and lots of butterwort popping into flower. Sat and basked in the sun on the warm rocks under Falcon Crag.
