Toddler love

What a happy boy we have.  He's had such brilliant presents, he spent this morning playing with his new train set (I thought it was great, the husband got up at about 6, leaving me in bed for a lie-in).  This afternoon was time for his fab car, which he loves.  I can see hours and hours ahead of me pushing it around the garden......

Back to running this morning after a few days off, I did nearly turn back as I felt a bit ill - but was fine after a bit. Discovered that anyone who is anyone arrives at Cirencester polo via helicopter, which provided some interest for my run past the polo fields.

Have been working on getting children to have their lunch time nap at the same time, am just about managing it - I take success where I can these days!  Spent a lovely hour and a half listening to Desert island disks and finding out all about Ed Sheeran - he's fast gaining a following in this house.  Interestingly, both he and Micheal Buble had a track by Eminen - and both described him as a genius.  Yes, this is about as interesting as my day was.....
