Not a great nights sleep, awake many times inlcuding at 0515 with Jonty gently woofing because he wanted to go outside. It was not helped with having a slightly pulled back from a crouched/twisted position in the understair cupboard connecting an exhaust pipe from the tumble drier to the exterior vent and terrible cramp pains in my upper thighs. Not sure what caused the cramps but we did have an Indian take away last night (Delicious, from La Royale, about half way between Sleaford and RAF College Cranwell). Maybe it was the salt in the meal that caused the cramps, I shall never know, but I was up 3 times with crippling pains, one time in particlular was so bad that Julia heard me and came to see if I was ok and brought me some painkillers which did seem to help somewhat.
A leisurely morning this morning, watched 'Rouge One', in the Star Wars saga, loved it but I do get confused with the out of sequence films but it is all coming together now!
Drove home without mishap, 3hr 20m, nice and steady in lovely weather apart from one 2 minute heavy shower in all that time.
We normally have a big Sunday dinner so today Daniel and Joanne invited us for a tea time when we got home. Went around there at 1700 to find sandwiches, dips, pork pie and cake to follow. It was lovely and very nice of them to think of it as we'd not eaten much all day, out of choice I must say because Julia did offer to take us to Weatherspoons for a Brunch.
We did enjoy our few days away, even with the DIY jobs, and it wasn't easy to leave Julia. She is making a really lovely home.
