Crossed wires and climbs

Went for a run up Rodney's Pillar this morning in the delicious Spring sunshine. I love how everything has just burst into life, so luscious and green. Bluebells for miles!

I love this hill for it's views over England and Wales. I think the kid at the top was stretching it when he said he could see Scotland though.

Got to Groove Cottage and had a luxurious bath before the parents got back from church. Clearly there had been a mix up in our communication because dad asked what time we were going up Rodney's Pillar. Had to break it to him that I had already been but, not being one to pass on the offer of a walk with company, we decided to go after lunch.

After mum's Sunday roast with pork and perfect crackling, it was probably just as well we went.
