Hande hoch!

We'd had a busy day before we arrived at Pevensey Castle. I was up early to assess my sore throat. It was still a bit sore, which gave me a dilemma - to compete in a race I'd entered.....or not. I decided to give it a go, but after the first lap and a half (of 4) it was clear that it wasn't a good idea.

Noo and GravyC were at Pevensey Castle yesterday, while ZQ played spent time on his homework with friends. Noo does love a castle, however, so it was easy to pop back there from where we were. Noo informs me, and he is correct, that William the Conquerer built his first castle here inside the remaining walls of a Roman Fort.
