Derwentwater - low water

No - the tide isn't out, it's simply been the driest month I can remember up here in a long time!

We took the ferry across Derwentwater from Keswick and walked round the south end of the Lake and back to Keswick, stopping for a bite to eat at Mary Mount hotel on route. 

I was astonished to see how low the lake level has now reached, though looking at the weather forecast, they may be replenished very soon!
