Alexander the Great

The statue of the most famous figure of Thessaloniki at the seaside boulevard as a statue on his famous horse Boecephalus (the cowheaded) ~  a comfortable and pleasant busdrive of 6 hours delivered me at my friends in this northern city here in Greece... it' s atmosphere and surroundings remind me much of Southern France and Northern Italy ~  on the other hand not much of a surprise perhaps as the are on the same level in Europe
