Broken

I came across this dead pigeon earlier on today in a car park, there was a pile of feathers and then a few feet away the body of the bird itself, I think it might have been attacked by another bird.  We sang a song in church this morning which talked about broken wings and this bird made me think of the song.  When you live in a rural area you get used to seeing dead wildlife at the side of the road and usually they have been hit by a car, but I am fairly sure in this case it was another bird who was responsible.  Nature can be really tough.
