September challenge Day 11 - Hero

I was thinking about "Hero" and what it means. I don't think I have anyone in my life that I consider a hero. Yes I have my family,friends, inspirational figures etc that I love and admire but I still don't see them as heroes.
Then I remembered what day it is today - September the 11th. There were true heroes that day when the World trade centres came down. Firefighters and just regular people that risked their lives to save others. No questions asked. Some of us can only imagine what they were going through or how scared they were, yet so brave. That's a true hero to me.
