The First Bearded Iris .....

.....to open.
A garden full of firsts at the moment.  Was undecided between the iris and the first white rose, but loved the markings on the iris so went with that one.  I am quite pleased with this shot, as the wind was blowing quite strongly so the petals were blowing around, had to keep waiting for a lull to take the shot.
