Pink Blossom

Two members of our family visited this morning, our daughter and granddaughter. The afternoon was spent watching rubbish on television with the F! highlights to watch this evening.
 
During the afternoon I walked around the garden and noticed this pink blossom, I do not remember seeing it before, but clearly it has been there for years. It is possible that it has been missed in the past as to get to it you need to cross the pond, which this year is dry. I do not know what it is, it is growing beside an Acer and a Greengage. I have included an extra of a side view of it and to show the blue sky.
 
Lovely and sunny and quite warm, but with a little wind.
