Winchester

We went to Winchester for the day to have a bit of an explore and a picnic by the river. It was good but I couldn't remember anything that I'd learnt about Winchester Cathedral when we went there on a school trip. Don't think I'd make a very good tour guide. We did manage to watch some of the wheelchair rugby in the park by the Cathedral, though I did fall asleep for some of it.

This didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped unfortunately but hopefully it'll be better than Martin's blip for the day as I was attempted to beat him. We shall see... I think it's the remains of the Roman wall that used to surround Winchester.

In the evening we had a roast with my parents before a mad dash to the station, narrowly missing the train from Bentley. All in all, a pretty good weekend.
