Lilac

Overpowering the scent of yesterday's honeysuckle is this little lilac bush, bearing more flower this year than ever before. When I bought it, it was a very small plant labelled 'miniature lilac' .i planted it beside a small rockery. Now changes in garden design have left it in a back area beside the bins! But it can still be seen and enjoyed, and the intense fragrance is well placed beside the bins!
Beautiful though it is, I never bring it indoors. I don't think I am very superstitious, but my mother would never bring lilac indoors, so neither do I.
