Vyne Tulip

I only went out for a cup a coffee and to look for some new walking shoes.  Somehow, however, I found myself at The Vyne near Basingstoke, so took the opportunity to take a walk around the gardens and lake. 

I was feeling pleased with myself that I had at least dropped the big camera in the boot, and had even remembered to put the spare battery in the bag.  So I wasn't bothered that the battery was showing low on the camera. I didn't feel so clever when I popped the spare in and it started flashing  "very low"!  So I put the original back in, switched off the IS and decide to "think film" and shoot sparingly while enjoying the walk, including these gorgeous parrot tulips.
